Product series to propose a fusion of western design and Japanese culture produced by the collaboration between the sports lifestyle brand “PUMA” and the Kutaniyaki open kiln of more than 130 years KUTANI CHOEMON. PUMA × biomega – Kutaniyaki special model “PUMA 8-Speed Urban Mobility Bike” (2007). To celebrate the launch in Japan of “Speed Urban Mobility Bike PUMA 8″ a special model production project was jointly developed between the bike brand Biomega and lifestyle brand PUMA.

“KUTANI CHOEMON” was founded in 1879 in Ishikawa, Japan. We have been making tableware and tea ceremony utensils for over 130 years in an integrated system of production from raw material to finished products. Although we are small on a business scale, every piece of work is carefully handmade and hand-painted by experienced craftsmen. Our products feature rich blue and white colors and traditional Kutani color glazes.
